St Vincent is issuing a series of international postage stamps depicting Playboy's most memorable covers to commemorate the magazine's 50th anniversary, officials say.

The six stamps will range from the magazine's 1953 Marilyn Monroe cover to the January 2004 Gold Anniversary cover, said St Vincent Philatelic Bureau manager Edward Beache.

"We usually market events and individuals who we think can help to promote St Vincent and the Grenadines," Beache said.

The stamps, out on December 1, will cost Eastern Caribbean $9 ($5.35) for six.
